My Relationship With My Parents Felt Emotionally Unsafe

When we first connected, I was finding it difficult to reduce or remove my parenting triggers, despite having followed all of the usual advice about taking a breath, reframing the behaviour etc. I was also trying to figure out how to have a relationship with my parents that felt emotionally safe.

Before I started coaching, I did not think I was going to be able to heal my childhood wounds but my confidence in my ability to access the healing tools (reparenting, self-care, self-nourishment etc) grew throughout the process as I practiced them.

Since coaching, I am a calmer and more content mom, I am doing more things that make me feel alive and which reflect my desires, and I have been implementing new limits with the people whom I find complicated. I have more changes to make, but I am no longer feeling stuck and hopeless, as I did when I reached out to Lavinia.

I surprised myself the most during the series by how ‘easy’ I found the work and by how rapidly I experienced changes after learning how to reparent and after starting to release my feelings towards my parents.

Despite the significant cost of the coaching series, the results I got were powerful. The sessions were well structured and organised and Lavinia always made very insightful observations which showed she was entirely focused on what I was saying.

It felt like she really understood me, which is pretty remarkable when you consider how little time we have known each other!
