I Needed To Know It Was Alright To Say No

When we first connected, I was feeling very angry, frustrated and helpless. I needed to know that it was alright to say no, and to not have all the answers.

Before our first session, I was feeling optimistic and curious; I remained optimistic and hopeful after the first session. I had never worked with a coach previously and didn't know exactly what to expect, I just knew that I needed help.

Since coaching, I am now much more able to maintain control over my emotions and not yell at family members. I am better able to communicate my needs and expectations to my partner, and I have more patience to hold space for all the feelings my children are having and to be supportive to them.

I surprised myself the most during the series by being able to hold boundaries, say no to things that crossed those boundaries, and pushing back when I felt I needed to hold my ground.

My biggest learning was how to feel my feelings and then let them pass through me in order to let go of the pain.

The coaching series was absolutely good value - I really enjoyed the work we did and feel it helped me immensely.
